Click apply Go to www.ecocard.com and press the ‘Register FREE’ button. Create your account details All fields marked with * are mandatory. -
Enter your email address and type it again to re-confirm Please ensure you input a valid email address; we will use it to send you an account activation link. -
Choose a username and password These will be used to log in to your account. Both your username and password should be at least 6 characters long, easy to remember but hard to guess. For practical help and advice on choosing a suitable and secure password, please refer to our guidance for choosing a secure password help section. Re-enter your password to confirm. -
Select a currency This will be the main currency of your account — you can add accounts for other currencies after registration. -
Create a Security Question and answer Please select a question from the drop-down menu and insert the answer in the entry field below. Please ensure the Security Question you chose has only one definitive answer known by you and no-one else. We will use your Security Question and answer to recover your password should you forget it. -
Enter the validation code Please insert the characters displayed in the box, into the entry field below. If you are having trouble reading the letters/numbers in the validation code, please click the ‘Characters not clear?’ link to display a different set of characters. -
Click ‘Next step’ Enter your details All fields marked with * are mandatory. -
Enter your first name, last name, date of birth and gender -
Enter your full home address -
Enter your home phone number Your home phone number must be your country’s landline and include an area code. This is a mandatory field. EcoCard customer services may use this number, should we need to contact you regarding your account. You may also wish to include an office line or mobile as an alternative contact. -
Select a preferred contact language We will aim to contact you in your chosen language whenever possible. -
Click ‘Next step’ Check and confirm Please review the details entered. If you wish to amend any of the information you have provided, click the ‘Change’ link next to the section you wish to amend. Click ‘Confirm’ to proceed with your application. Check your email account Please click the activation link, which we will have sent to your registered email address. Please check your junk/spam mail folder if you don’t appear to have received this after five minutes. Confirm your username The activation screen will request that you enter your username. You will also see a pre-filled activation code. Please leave this field as it is and upon entering your username, click the ‘Activate your account’ button. Enter your login details Enter your username and password. Click ‘Login’. Read and accept the Terms of Use and Exception Warning You must select both tick boxes to confirm you have read and agreed to the PSI-Pay Terms of Use for your EcoCard account and Exception warning to continue. Step-by-Step instructions on Depositing
|
Once your EcoCard is created and activated, funds can be deposited.
Go to the "myEco" Section on www.ecocard.com and using username and password sign into EcoCard Account.
Choose "Money Deposits" Section from the left-hand menu.
The page will display a list of deposit methods and detailed instructions.
To make a deposit to EcoCard please:
- Choose the deposit method
- Read instructions and make a print-out if necessary
- Make a deposit according to the instructions
- Confirm your deposit (only for Bank Deposits)

For Bank Deposits, your EcoCard account number should be inserted in to the "Payment Details" in the payment order.

Step-by-Step instructions on Withdrawing
|
Go to the "myEco" Section on www.ecocard.com and using username and password sign into EcoCard Account.
Choose "Withdraw" Section from the left-hand menu.
Withdrawals can be performed by Wire Transfer only. Before submitting a new request a Payment Option (i.e. Bank Account details) should be added. There is no need to add new Payment Option if it has been already added.
The withdrawal request is processed within 3 business days. You may request to cancel the withdrawal when the withdrawal status is “NEW” and funds will be credited back to the EcoCard Account.

Step-by-step instructions on Applying for the EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard®
|
Log in to your account
Click the ‘myEco’ tab on www.ecocard.com and log in with the username and password you chose during registration.
Check your current account balance
On the ‘My Account’ page, check the balance of your EcoCard current account. You must have a minimum of £20.00 to apply, independent of any balance(s) in your sub-accounts.
Select "Prepaid MasterCard" from the left-hand menu
Click the ‘Find out more and apply’ button
This sits underneath the EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard header.
Click ‘Apply now’
Check and confirm your details
Please check the details we have for you are correct. It is particularly important your home address is correct, as we will be sending your debit card to your registered address. If any of the details (aside from your mobile number) are incorrect, please contact customer services before continuing your application.
Add or update your mobile number (if applicable)
- If your mobile number is incomplete or incorrect you can change it by clicking ‘Change your mobile number now’.
- Insert your mobile number into the ‘New mobile number’ field.
- As a security precaution you are required to provide the answer to your Security Question as selected at registration. Click ‘Change’.
If you have forgotten the answer to your Security Question contact customer services for assistance.
Read and agree to the terms
Select all three tick boxes to confirm you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Large Balance Disclaimer and acknowledge that your details are up-to-date and correct. Click ‘Next’.
Wait while we process your application
This should take between 1-3 working days. You can check on the status of your application by logging in and clicking on ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand menu. You will receive a confirmation email from us if your application has been approved.
Wait to receive your card and PIN
If your application is successful, you will receive your debit card and PIN to your registered address within 4 working days from the date your application is processed. For security purposes, these will be posted to you separately. Once you have received your card and PIN, you should sign the signature strip on the back of your card immediately and activate it by following the steps below.

Once you have received your debit card and PIN, you will need to activate it before you can use it to make purchases or withdrawals. To do this: Log in to your account Click the ‘myEco’ tab on www.ecocard.com and log in with the username and password you chose during registration. Click the ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ link in the left-hand menu. Click the ‘Activate your card’ button This will only appear once your card application has been accepted and processed. Input the full 16-digit card number As printed on the front of your debit card. Click ‘Activate’. You have three attempts to activate your card. If you enter the number incorrectly three times you will no longer be able to activate your card through the website, and will need to contact customer services. A message will advise whether your activation has been successful You can now begin using your card for ATM withdrawals and purchases wherever MasterCard is accepted*. * Subject to Terms and Conditions

Check and confirm your details
Please check the details we have for you are correct. It is particularly important we have your current email address and mobile phone number, as we will use these to send you your card details. If any of the details (aside from your mobile number) are incorrect, please contact customer services before continuing your application.
Add or update your mobile number
- If your mobile number is incomplete or incorrect you can change it by clicking ‘Change your mobile number now’.
- Insert your mobile number into the ‘New mobile number’ field.
- As a security precaution you are required to provide the answer to your Security Question as selected at registration. Click ‘Change’. If you have forgotten the answer to your Security Question please contact customer services for assistance.
Read and agree to the terms

Wait to receive your virtual card number
Please allow between 1-3 working days for us to process your application. Once your application has been processed, we will send you your virtual card number. For security purposes, this will be sent to you in two parts — the first 8 digits to your email account, and the last 8 digits by SMS to your registered mobile number. Once you have received both parts of your card number, you should activate your card by following the steps below.

Step-by-step instructions on Activating your EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard®
|
Once you have successfully applied and received your card number, you will need to activate your virtual card to display the card expiry date and 3-digit security code (CVV2) which you will need to make purchases. To do this:
Log in to your account
Click the ‘myEco’ tab on www.ecocard.com and login with the username and password you chose during registration.
Click the ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ link in the left-hand menu
Click the ‘Activate your card’ button
This will only appear once your card application has been accepted and processed.
You have three attempts to activate your card. If you enter the card number incorrectly three times you will not be able to activate your card through the website and will need to contact customer services.
Input the first 8 digits of your virtual card number
This will have been sent to your registered email address shortly after your application has been successful.
Input the last 8 digits of your virtual card number
This will have been sent to your registered mobile phone number by SMS once your application has been successful. Click ‘Activate’.
Make a note of your virtual card security code (CVV2) and expiry date
If your card activation is successful, you will see a message to confirm and your card security code (CVV2) and expiry date will be displayed. Please make a note of these details, as you will need them to begin making purchases. For security reasons do not share these details with anyone nor keep a record of them on your computer.
Click ‘Fund your card’ to top-up your virtual card and begin making purchases. Please read our Step-by-step instructions on Depositing for more information.

Every time you make an international bank deposit you should fill in and submit the deposit confirmation form. This form is mandatory. It helps us to allocate your payment and to credit your EcoCard account faster and more efficiently.

I have deposited money, but my EcoCard has not been credited yet. What happened?
|
Deposits made through wire transfers are usually credited within 1-4 business days.
Remember that every time you make a bank deposit, you should fill in and submit the deposit confirmation form. This form is mandatory. It helps us to allocate your payment and to credit your EcoCard account faster and more efficiently.
If your EcoCard account crediting does not happen within the set times, please send us by FAX or email a copy of your payment order identifying your payment to EcoCard. Our staff will contact you as soon as possible. Please note that EcoCard Ltd does not accept responsibility for delays due to the third-party working schedule.

How can I pay to one of your merchants?
|
In order to make payments with EcoCard to our merchants you should:
- Be registered with both — EcoCard and merchant;
- You have to have money on your EcoCard. If you do not, check Step-by-Step instructions on Depositing.
- Go to the merchant’s site, Login into your account there;
- Go to the “Deposit” section (the name of this section may vary with different merchants), choose EcoCard as a payment method;
- Insert the amount you wish to deposit from your EcoCard (it should be equal or less your EcoCard balance);
- Then insert your username and password and press “Next” or “Submit” button;
- Funds are transferred (you may check it by logging into your EcoCard).
- You may start playing and betting.

Where do I find my PIN?
|
You will have been posted a four-digit PIN number shortly after you applied to use at cash machines and when making purchases with Chip and PIN.
If you would prefer to change the PIN number to something more memorable, this can be done at most bank-owned cash machines. Go to ‘PIN Services’ and follow the instructions on screen.

How do I act if I haven’t received my card or PIN?
|
If you haven’t received either your debit card or PIN please double-check whether your registered address is current and up-to-date by looking at your ‘Personal information’ within ‘Personal Settings’. If your address is incorrect, please contact customer services straight away, detailing the problem.
Your debit card and PIN are only issued once your application has been processed. Your PIN number is posted separately from your debit card for security purposes. Please allow up to seven working days for processing and delivery of your card and PIN before contacting customer services.
To check whether your application has been processed, log in to your account and click ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the left-hand menu. If your application is processing, you will see a message that reads ‘Thank you for applying for EcoCard Prepaid Debit Card. Please wait while we process your application’

How do I cancel my card?
|
If your card is lost or stolen
If your debit card is no longer in your possession, you should cancel your card immediately by logging into your account and select ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand navigation. Click ‘Manage your card’ underneath the ‘EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’ header.
From the ‘Manage your card’ page, click the link that reads ‘Report your card lost or stolen’ A prompt will appear asking you to provide a reason for the cancellation. Select the relevant box and click ‘Continue’.
Should you recover the card after this, you will no longer be able to use it, and you should dispose of it properly, by cutting it into two, ensuring you have cut through the chip in addition to the signature strip.
You can re-apply for a new card at any time by going through the normal application process.
If your debit card is lost or stolen, or your PIN becomes known to another person, contact us immediately on 0871 898 1012.
If you no longer require your card
If you no longer want to use your debit card, you may cancel it at any time from the ‘Manage your card’ page. To get to this page, log in to your account and select ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand navigation. Click ‘Manage your card’ underneath the ‘EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’ header.
From the ‘Manage your card’ page, click the link that reads ‘Cancel your EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the cancellation. Click ‘Continue’. You will be charged a 20p fee for card cancellation.
Once your card has been successfully cancelled you will no longer be able to use it You should properly dispose of the card by cutting it in two, ensuring you have cut through the chip in addition to the signature strip.
Should you wish to use the debit card feature in the future you may re-apply in the usual way by clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand menu.

Why was my payment/withdrawal rejected?
|
There are a number of reasons why a transaction might be rejected:
- A payment was attempted to a merchant that is not allowed under our Terms and Conditions. This includes gambling, gaming or pornographic merchants.
- One or more of the daily limits have been exceeded:
- Minimum single withdrawal amount £10.00
- Maximum single withdrawal amount £220.00
- Maximum number of 3 withdrawals per day
If you have had a payment or withdrawal rejected, try waiting 24 hours to attempt another purchase or withdrawal. If after this, you’re still having problems, please contact customer services for assistance.

How do I fund my card?
|
Unlike the EcoCard debit card that is directly linked to the funds in your EcoCard current account, you must first load funds onto your virtual card before you use it.
To do this, log in to your account and select ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand menu. Followed by ‘Manage my card’ under EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard. Half way down the page, enter the amount you wish to load in the ‘Enter load amount’ field and click the ‘load amount’ button next to the form field.
YOU CAN ONLY LOAD FUNDS ONTO THE CARD ONCE. This means if you want to use your card for a single transaction, ensure you load enough funds to cover the cost of the transaction plus any applicable fees that will be debited from funds topped up on your card, NOT directly from your account. If you plan on using your card for multiple purchases, may wish to consider loading a higher amount onto your card so you can make a number of online transactions.

What should I do if I’ve applied but haven’t received my card number?
|
Your 16-digit card number will have been sent to you shortly after your application was successful. It will have been sent in two parts for security purposes; The first 8 digits, will have been sent to your registered email address, and the last 8 digits to your registered mobile phone number via SMS.
Please check your registered email address and mobile phone number are correct. These are displayed on the card activation screen, which is accessible by logging in to your account, clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the left-hand menu followed by the button that reads ‘Activate your card’.
If either your mobile number or email address is incorrect you will need to contact customer services for assistance. If your details are correct, click the ‘re-issue your virtual card number’ link and try again.

Why was my payment rejected?
|
There are a number of reasons why a transaction might be rejected:
- There are insufficient funds on your card
- A payment was attempted to a merchant that is not allowed under our Terms and Conditions.

If you have had a payment rejected, check your virtual card balance by logging into your account, clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’, following by ‘Manage your card’ under ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’. If there is insufficient balance on the card to complete the transaction, cancel the card from this page, and apply for a new one. Top this up with enough funds to cover at least the cost of the purchase plus transaction charges.
If your card is sufficiently in credit, try waiting 24 hours to attempt another purchase or withdrawal. If after this time, you’re still having problems, please contact customer services for assistance.

What should I do if I’ve forgotten my card details?
|
If you have forgotten your card number
You will need to cancel your card and apply for a new one.
If your card is active, you can cancel it through the EcoCard website by logging into your account, clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’, followed by ‘Manage your card’ under ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’.
If you have yet to activate your card, you will need to contact us so that we can cancel the card on your behalf.
If you have forgotten your expiry date
This can be found on the ‘Manage your card’ page which can be accessed by clicking on ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the logged in left-hand menu, followed by ‘Manage your card’ link underneath the ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’ header.
If you have forgotten your 3-digit card security code (CVV2)
You may have it re-sent and displayed on screen a total of three times by clicking ‘Re-send security code (CVV2)’ after which you will need to cancel your card and apply for a new one. You may wish to make a note of this number, but for security reasons, do not disclose it to anyone nor keep any record of it on your computer.
If you have forgotten your card security code and you have already had it re-sent three times you will need to cancel your card and apply for a new one.

You have not done anything wrong. Keep in mind that your password is case sensitive. Make sure CAPSLOCK on your computer is off (or on, depending on whether CAPSLOCK was on or off when you registered with EcoCard). In order to log into your EcoCard you should type in your username and your password.

What are the requirements / restrictions for the "Password" field?
|
Your password should be at least 6 and up to 128 symbols long. It should not be too short or too simple. It should not be identical to your e-mail address or contain repeated sub-strings of characters. The Password field is case sensitive: it distinguishes between lower-case and upper-case letters. EcoCard recommends the password to be a combination of letters and symbols. Keep the password in a safe place and do not disclose it to any third party.

Dos:
- Use a combination of numbers, letters or symbols
- Try substituting letters for similar numbers as a simple way to add complexity to your password e.g. 3 instead of E, 4 instead of A, etc.
- Use a mixture of upper and lower case characters
- Choose something easy to remember but hard to guess, like a statement or phrase (e.g. 1mTheBestCook)
- Make it lengthy — each character used increases a password’s strength many times over
- Change your password often
Do nots:
- Do not use your e-mail address as your password
- Do not use a single word that can be found in the dictionary
- Do not use a name
- Do not use information that can be found in your wallet (e.g. Driver’s license number)
- Do not use information commonly known about you (e.g. your favourite sports team)
- Do not use a repeated string or sequential pattern of characters (e.g. abcdefg, 222222)
- Do not keep a record of your password anywhere on your computer
- Do not use the same password for multiple accounts, particularly those that are less secure.
NEVER reveal your password to anyone.
We do not keep a record of your password and EcoCard staff will never ask you to disclose it. Remember that in accordance with the ‘PSI-Pay Terms of Use for EcoCard account’ it is your responsibility to keep your login details secure:
