Please ensure you input a valid email address; we will use it to send you an account activation link.
These will be used to log in to your account. Both your username and password should be at least 6 characters long, easy to remember but hard to guess. For practical help and advice on choosing a suitable and secure password, please refer to our guidance for choosing a secure password help section. Re-enter your password to confirm.
This will be the main currency of your account — you can add accounts for other currencies after registration.
Please select a question from the drop-down menu and insert the answer in the entry field below. Please ensure the Security Question you chose has only one definitive answer known by you and no-one else. We will use your Security Question and answer to recover your password should you forget it.
Your home phone number must be your country’s landline and include an area code. This is a mandatory field. EcoCard customer services may use this number, should we need to contact you regarding your account. You may also wish to include an office line or mobile as an alternative contact.
We will aim to contact you in your chosen language whenever possible.
Please review the details entered. If you wish to amend any of the information you have provided, click the ‘Change’ link next to the section you wish to amend. Click ‘Confirm’ to proceed with your application.
Please click the activation link, which we will have sent to your registered email address. Please check your junk/spam mail folder if you don’t appear to have received this after five minutes.
The activation screen will request that you enter your username. You will also see a pre-filled activation code. Please leave this field as it is and upon entering your username, click the ‘Activate your account’ button.
Enter your username and password. Click ‘Login’.
You must select both tick boxes to confirm you have read and agreed to the PSI-Pay Terms of Use for your EcoCard account and Exception warning to continue. Click ‘Submit’.
Click the ‘myEco’ tab on www.ecocard.com and log in with the username and password you chose during registration.
On the ‘My Account’ page, check the balance of your EcoCard current account. You must have a minimum of £20.00 to apply, independent of any balance(s) in your sub-accounts.
This sits underneath the EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard header.
Please check the details we have for you are correct. It is particularly important your home address is correct, as we will be sending your debit card to your registered address. If any of the details (aside from your mobile number) are incorrect, please contact customer services before continuing your application.
If you have forgotten the answer to your Security Question contact customer services for assistance.
Select all three tick boxes to confirm you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Large Balance Disclaimer and acknowledge that your details are up-to-date and correct. Click ‘Next’.
This should take between 1-3 working days. You can check on the status of your application by logging in and clicking on ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand menu. You will receive a confirmation email from us if your application has been approved.
If your application is successful, you will receive your debit card and PIN to your registered address within 4 working days from the date your application is processed. For security purposes, these will be posted to you separately. Once you have received your card and PIN, you should sign the signature strip on the back of your card immediately and activate it by following the steps below.
This will only appear once your card application has been accepted and processed.
As printed on the front of your debit card. Click ‘Activate’. You have three attempts to activate your card. If you enter the number incorrectly three times you will no longer be able to activate your card through the website, and will need to contact customer services.
You can now begin using your card for ATM withdrawals and purchases wherever MasterCard is accepted*.

Click the ‘myEco’ tab on www.ecocard.com and login with the username and password you chose during registration.
This appears underneath the ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’ header.
Please check the details we have for you are correct. It is particularly important we have your current email address and mobile phone number, as we will use these to send you your card details. If any of the details (aside from your mobile number) are incorrect, please contact customer services before continuing your application.
Please allow between 1-3 working days for us to process your application. Once your application has been processed, we will send you your virtual card number. For security purposes, this will be sent to you in two parts — the first 8 digits to your email account, and the last 8 digits by SMS to your registered mobile number. Once you have received both parts of your card number, you should activate your card by following the steps below.
This will only appear once your card application has been accepted and processed. You have three attempts to activate your card. If you enter the card number incorrectly three times you will not be able to activate your card through the website and will need to contact customer services.
This will have been sent to your registered email address shortly after your application has been successful.
This will have been sent to your registered mobile phone number by SMS once your application has been successful. Click ‘Activate’.
If your card activation is successful, you will see a message to confirm and your card security code (CVV2) and expiry date will be displayed. Please make a note of these details, as you will need them to begin making purchases. For security reasons do not share these details with anyone nor keep a record of them on your computer.
Click ‘Fund your card’ to top-up your virtual card and begin making purchases. Please read our Step-by-step instructions on Depositing for more information.
To apply for the EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard, log in to your account and check your current account balance from the ‘Account summary’ page. You must have a minimum of £20.00 in your current account to apply, independent of any balance(s) in your sub-accounts.
Click ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the left-hand menu. Then click the link that says ‘Find out more and apply’ underneath the ‘EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard header’.

If you would prefer to change the PIN number to something more memorable, this can be done at most bank-owned cash machines. Go to ‘PIN Services’ and follow the instructions on screen.
Your debit card and PIN are only issued once your application has been processed. Your PIN number is posted separately from your debit card for security purposes. Please allow up to seven working days for processing and delivery of your card and PIN before contacting customer services.
To check whether your application has been processed, log in to your account and click ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the left-hand menu. If your application is processing, you will see a message that reads ‘Thank you for applying for EcoCard Prepaid Debit Card. Please wait while we process your application’
If your debit card is no longer in your possession, you should cancel your card immediately by logging into your account and select ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand navigation. Click ‘Manage your card’ underneath the ‘EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’ header. From the ‘Manage your card’ page, click the link that reads ‘Report your card lost or stolen’ A prompt will appear asking you to provide a reason for the cancellation. Select the relevant box and click ‘Continue’.
Should you recover the card after this, you will no longer be able to use it, and you should dispose of it properly, by cutting it into two, ensuring you have cut through the chip in addition to the signature strip. You can re-apply for a new card at any time by going through the normal application process.
If your debit card is lost or stolen, or your PIN becomes known to another person, contact us immediately on 0871 898 1012.
If you no longer want to use your debit card, you may cancel it at any time from the ‘Manage your card’ page. To get to this page, log in to your account and select ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand navigation. Click ‘Manage your card’ underneath the ‘EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’ header. From the ‘Manage your card’ page, click the link that reads ‘Cancel your EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the cancellation. Click ‘Continue’. You will be charged a 20p fee for card cancellation.
Once your card has been successfully cancelled you will no longer be able to use it You should properly dispose of the card by cutting it in two, ensuring you have cut through the chip in addition to the signature strip. Should you wish to use the debit card feature in the future you may re-apply in the usual way by clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand menu.
The EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard is not a physical card; instead you will be provided with all the card details needed for an online transaction, sent to you via email and SMS. You can then load funds onto your virtual card through your EcoCard account, and spend wherever you see the MasterCard acceptance mark online.*

All fees are deducted from the topped-up balance on your virtual card.
To do this, log in to your account and select ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ from the left-hand menu. Followed by ‘Manage my card’ under EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard. Half way down the page, enter the amount you wish to load in the ‘Enter load amount’ field and click the ‘load amount’ button next to the form field.
YOU CAN ONLY LOAD FUNDS ONTO THE CARD ONCE. This means if you want to use your card for a single transaction, ensure you load enough funds to cover the cost of the transaction plus any applicable fees that will be debited from funds topped up on your card, NOT directly from your account. If you plan on using your card for multiple purchases, may wish to consider loading a higher amount onto your card so you can make a number of online transactions.
Please check your registered email address and mobile phone number are correct. These are displayed on the card activation screen, which is accessible by logging in to your account, clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the left-hand menu followed by the button that reads ‘Activate your card’.
If either your mobile number or email address is incorrect you will need to contact customer services for assistance. If your details are correct, click the ‘re-issue your virtual card number’ link and try again.
If you have had a payment rejected, check your virtual card balance by logging into your account, clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’, following by ‘Manage your card’ under ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’. If there is insufficient balance on the card to complete the transaction, cancel the card from this page, and apply for a new one. Top this up with enough funds to cover at least the cost of the purchase plus transaction charges.
If your card is sufficiently in credit, try waiting 24 hours to attempt another purchase or withdrawal. If after this time, you’re still having problems, please contact customer services for assistance.
You will need to cancel your card and apply for a new one.
If your card is active, you can cancel it through the EcoCard website by logging into your account, clicking ‘Prepaid MasterCard’, followed by ‘Manage your card’ under ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’.
If you have yet to activate your card, you will need to contact us so that we can cancel the card on your behalf.
This can be found on the ‘Manage your card’ page which can be accessed by clicking on ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ in the logged in left-hand menu, followed by ‘Manage your card’ link underneath the ‘EcoCard Virtual Prepaid MasterCard’ header.
You may have it re-sent and displayed on screen a total of three times by clicking ‘Re-send security code (CVV2)’ after which you will need to cancel your card and apply for a new one. You may wish to make a note of this number, but for security reasons, do not disclose it to anyone nor keep any record of it on your computer.
If you have forgotten your card security code and you have already had it re-sent three times you will need to cancel your card and apply for a new one.

Should another person gain access to your Account by passing all identification and security validation and verification checks, we are entitled to treat any transaction conducted by that person as valid and authorised by you and are not responsible for any loss or damage you may incur as a result.”
