Communication with Eco Systems is accomplished using HTTPS requests from the Merchant and receiving data in XML format as a response from Eco Systems.

When EcoCard Holder wants to make a payment to the Merchant, he/she is being redirected from the Merchant’s site to www.ecocard.com where he/she should pass authentication by inserting User Name and Password to confirm the payment. Only when the payment is confirmed and there is adequate account balance to execute the transaction, money is transferred from the EcoCard Holder’s account to the Merchant’s account within the Eco Systems. The whole process is a matter of few seconds.
